Description: Junior Product AnalystOur Client is a market leader in the electronic distribution of Financial Services products and works with many leading insurance companies.The E Systems Dept is responsible for new developments and for managing the business process through this network.The role is to effectively support the E Systems Manager in all aspects of rates testing from the test pack creation, processing of the test scripts to analysing results liaising with the 3rd party software houses and our internal developers as required.The individual who undertakes this role must be highly numerate, analytical and have excellent attention to detail.The role requires an extremely high level of organisational skills.Creating test packs requires an intermediate knowledge of Excel and MS Access.Above all, it is crucial that the individual have the ability to multi task and work under pressure, often working to very tight deadlines. Responsibilities:Motor and Household Rating Engines·Create and maintain test packs using excel and access·Process test packs and analyse results using XML reporting to software houses as required·Error investigation ·Maintaining detailed issue logs·Accurate work instructions must be maintainedUser Acceptance Testing ·Create and maintain test packs using excel and access·Process test packs and analyse results reporting to software houses as required·Documenting test results·Error investigation ·Accurate work instructions must be maintained QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS·Graduate·Highly numerate·Analytical·Excel knowledge·MS Access knowledge·Excellent attention to detail·Self motivated and energetic·Works to tight deadlines with minimum supervision·Ability to perform under pressure·Good communication skillsCareer Progression·Excellent opportunities for progression in an E-commerce environmentSalary up to £16k
