Description: Our client has an immediate vacancy for a Quality Engineer, to focus on the implementation of a viable, self sustaining and self improving approach to quality to ensure that the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility has the capability to deliver defect-free paperwork and parts. Duties include: Ensuring the Company’s internal & external operations comply with airworthiness, customer and management system standards thereby maintaining our business critical approvals Act as the point of contact for quality issues and KPIs within MRO and provide feedback/updates via daily/weekly/monthly reports and internal review meetings Carry out internal audits to ensure the MRO systems, products and paperwork meet Airworthiness regulations, Customer requirements and the AS9110 standard Champion Human factors as part of problem solving and plan events to raise awareness of airworthiness, quality and customer requirements The ideal candidate will have: At least 3 years experience in a similar role with working knowledge of EASA 145, FAA requirements and AS9110 gained within an aerospace environment Working knowledge of internal auditing and quality improvement tools including root cause analysis, SPC, problem solving IT literate with a good understanding of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Word Ability to communicate clearly and give presentations at all levels Some international travel will be required Permanent staff, excellent rates, holidays 25 days + bank holidays, pension and flexi-time
