The Company:
Multi Disciplinary architectural and town planning practice based on the outskirts of Oxfordshire are looking to expand the size of the Town Planning division by offering an exciting opportunity for an Town Planner to work under an Associate and learn all aspects of the planning process as well as working towards their RTPI accreditation. The role will allow you to work in various aspects of the market including Conservation, Heritage and Education and will include both office and on site work.
The Duties:
As mentioned you will work alongside an Associate Planner who has a wealth of commercial experience and will deliver different aspects of the planning process including appeals, preparing development plan documents as well as at the same time work in line with government policy and RTPI legislation. As a company they will pay for your full training which will include working towards your RTPI membership. Work will be both within the Public and Private sector and ideally you will be able to drive in order to easily get to site.
The Experience:
To apply you will need to be from a graduate background and hold a qualification that is RTPI recognized. If you have 6-12 months commercial experience that would be ideal and this can be from a placement from either the Public or Private sector. Ideally you will be based closeby to Oxfordshire but Town Planners willing to relocate would also be considered.
