Description: Our client is a manufacturing organisation looking to source a new Production Manager. You must possess an engineering/ maintenance background. You do not necessarily need to possess management experience but you do need a sound knowledge of engineering and be able to provide first line maintenance support. You may come from a management background or be looking to take a step up into management.A maintenance engineering background is vital. Forklift truck licenses beneficial but not essential. You will be in charge of a fairly small team of 8 employees and working on a rotating shift of 6am until 2pm one week and 2pm until 10pm the next week on an alternating basis. Nights not generally required except under exceptional circumstances and 1 Saturday morning on 3 with a day of in lieu for this. Based in Kidlington.
