Description: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced SHEQual Advisor (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor) to work within the SHEQual team providing the role provided outlined below to all MWH company’s within the geographical boundaries of the Business Unit within which you work. Key responsibilities will include; • Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the client’s SHEQual Policies and Systems within the businesses • Tracking the speed and quality of any corrective actions that are raised during the monitoring activities. • Stopping any client work activities where the SHEQual Advisor identifies an imminent danger to people or the environment. • Keeping up to date with current SHEQual legislation and industry best practice and disseminating this information to all levels of staff throughout the Business. • Providing SHEQual advice to all levels of client employees (e.g. SHEQual systems) • Maintaining an effective relationship with the local Health and Safety Executive, Environmental Agency Officers, other regulators and Clients Health and Safety Representatives within the client business. • Maintain and implement company SHEQual audit / inspection plan within the business. • Investigating RIDDOR and first aid accidents, incidents, and near misses and liaising with the relevant SHEQual Manager with regards to notification of the relevant enforcing authorities. • Providing advice with client’s supplier / subcontractor assessments. • Providing SHEQual Managers with relevant information in a timely manner. • Contributing to developing, improving and implementing SHEQual policies, procedures and processes. • Contributing to the SHEQual annual action plans with SHEQual Managers and developing and implementing action plans and targets within the MWH business. • Identifying training needs and developing and delivering SHEQual training as required. • Providing the business with advice on the implementation of company’s SHE systems. • Promoti ...
