Description: We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client an international engineering consultancy a contracts manager for a Dam Heightening project on the Blue Nile in Sudan.The Contract Manager will review all contractual issues of the project and ensure compliance with FIDIC guidelines and regulations. They will be responsible for all contract documentation for the construction of the works are adequately recorded in a consistent and traceable manner and properly filed for future reference. The contracts manager will advise staff on contractual issues and assist in the day-to-day operation of the Consultant’s team of Contract Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and the Planning Engineer and Office Administrator. They will also act as Project Manager during the Project Manager’s absence or where particular contractual issues require his expertise.Applicants must have extensive experience on large civil projects and good knowledge of FIDIC conditions.
