Description: This national organisation is looking for a Route to Employment Support Worker to work with Offenders To provide routes to employment for offenders, pre and post release, with prison sentences under 12 months (Automatic Unconditional Release). This involves removing barriers to participation by providing support activities that improve employability. To identify and address customers barriers to progression. To support and mentor to contribute to the reduction of re-offending.Key Result AreasIdentify each customer’s individual needs through one-to one interviews and initial assessment, and ensure areas of development are fed into the individual learning plan and regularly review the process.Ensure all customers have an Individual Learning plan to address their development requirements, which links with previous activity (integrate with internal/external providers) i.e. no duplication of provision. Continual review of customer progression to ensure that the training continues to meet their identified needs.Ensure provision of skills, resources and support to ensure customer training/job search activity.Keep resources up to date and maintain a quality standard in line with requirements of contract and Project Manager Guidance.Achieve contractual targets as set at individual key performance indicator.Source suitable employment and/or work experience opportunities for customers.Effectively matches customer needs with local labour market/employer requirements.Complete all administration to the required quality standards. Effectively manage the customer journey, treating each customer as an individual. Build and maintain repeat business through strong customer relationshipsExperiencePrevious experience working with offenders.Previous experience of engaging with economically inactive customers.Creating and maintaining employer relations/partnerships.Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with employers.Assessing customer needs.This company have established themselves as a leading provider of support for offenders and ex-offenders.They offer their own staff excellent career progression, intelligent management and proactive strategies.Salary c. £20k plus benefits
