Description: Technologies: VB.NET C# SQL SERVER ASP.NETThe Role: Working for Digital Publishing Company based in Peterborough that is currently expanding their development team to answer the numerous projects. The company needs ambitious developers to create and enhance websites within the company portfolio. Theres a clear career progression pathway that consists of three tiers and the company will support the successful candidate to achieve an MCPD. The successful candidate would work with other developers to present ideas and further their current skills. Ideal Background: Experience with VB.NET C# ASP.NET and SQL Server would be essential and experience with XML, XSLT and Silverlight are not essential but would be advantageous. The candidate will have also worked within a previous agile/scrum environment. Knowledge and exposure to the software life cycle would prove beneficial and so would experience of mentoring junior members of staff. Good communication skills are a necessity, as the developer will need present ideas for projects to team leaders and peers.
