Description: GENERAL FOREMAN - WEST MIDLANDSup to £25K + Bonus up to £6k + vehicle + pension + healthcare + 25 days hols + statsOur client, a leading contractor specialising in the refurbishment of local authority housing stock seeks a General Foreman. You will assist the Site Manager with the profitable planning, management and control of all site based activities within budgeted cost in accordance with contract documents and company policies and procedures. Working in occupied properties, you must ensure standard of work produced by labour on Site is of good quality, ensure the successful implementation of the Incentive Scheme, Assess and co-ordinate all labour and plant resources, Ensure correct materials for the works are available on Site and have been fixed, Co-ordinate Sub-Contract activities and ensure a profitable platform is provided, Ensure Handovers are achieved on or before Programme and to correct quality, Determine the most effective methods of working to ensure best value and Monitor progress to construction programme. You will ensure all Variations are recorded and details passed to Site Manager orContracts Manager and Implement Company Policy for Safety and Health.Ideally you will come from a carpentry background and have some supervisory experience.
