Description: This is your opportunity to work with one of the top 10 media representation companies in the UK at an international level.DUTIES:- manage a portfolio of publishers at a global level- this is b2b/b2c, newspapers, radio, TV web internet, directories, direct mail, advertorials, virtual trade shows, show dailies.- Manage existing clients of about £350k?grow to 750£ million in 2 years - hot sales leads provided - grow new business of about another 250k.to a base of around 500k per year- face to face visits/telephone sales/email sales work - UK travel to clients/uk trade shows?1-2 days every 2 weeks- overseas travel 4-5 times a year to visit clients, international trade shows and publishers. In Europe and the USA- attend sales meetings and sales training- develop new business - inbound sales leads- Leads from the web site/print media- Email marketing - Industry events- Contact old clients- Share of market activity - Competition media- Trade leads- Leads from press/pr- Advertising agency visits- Deliver accurate quotes to clients and agencies in line with there budgets and brief- Visit exhibitions- Presentations to clients using power pointPERSON SPECIFICATION:- Multitasker- Diplomatic/fast thinking trouble shooter- ideally with 5-7 years experience in publishing or media/good closer/well trained /highly motivated/good educational background- Computer literate including word/PowerPoint/excel etc+ ACT- Highly self motivated- Strong Team PlayerLANGUAGES A BIG PLUS INCLUDING?CHINESE/SPAINISH/ARABIC-PORTUGUESE/RUSSIAN/FRENCH/ITALIANANY OR SOME VERY USEFUL?NOT ESSENTIAL BUT WOULD HELP BENEFITS:- Mileage allowance-35 p mile- Flexible working hours - Free parking- Travel uk/overseas- 23 days holiday Inc bank holidays 31 days per year+ 5 days on full sick pay- Travel expenses all covered - Training provided to improve skills- Death in service payment- Pension scheme/private healthcare/financial health check -all benefits
