Description: SQL Server/Crystal/Terminal Server -- Support and Training c£23-26,000 Surrey You will be responsible for providing pre-sales consultancy to prospective customers and post sales consultancy to new and existing customers. Pre-sales consultancy may involve giving prospective customers an in-depth understanding of the client systems. This can be operational and as well as technical point of view. Consultancy will involve (1) installation of systems, (2) configuration and fine tuning of MS SQL Server, (3) creation of SQL meta data, (4) publishing applications on various user profiles, (5) training different level of end users, (6) helping new customers to adapt best practice/procedure while implementing the software, (7) business report writing and data analysis, and (7) continuous support to the existing customers. Must have good skills in the following areas: (1) MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005 ** Understanding of database schema ** Writing Queries using SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT and DELETE commands ** Some knowledge of writing stored procedures and user defined functions (2) MS Windows 2003 and Terminal Server ** Good understanding of terminal server service under Windows 2003 ** Good understanding of how printing works under terminal server service (3) Crystal report writer 10 ** Good understanding of how to write complex Crystal reports with MS SQL Server (5) Presentation and Training ** Good communication and presentation skills ** Will be able to train all levels of users such as directors, managers and administrators.
