Description: Customer Support Technician (ADSL), Sheffield, £15kOur client is a global communications company who are now seeking a number of Customer Support Technicians (ADSL), to work in their South Yorkshire Operation.You will become part of a team providing cover 24/7 to all customers globally outside of the USA and Canada.Working as a Customer Support Technician, you will mainly be responsible for handling the ADSL customer fault and service line.The role requires pro-active monitoring of all ADSL endpoints, liaising with customers and internal staff on all faults and providing technical support for all circuit issues.DUTIESPro-actively monitoring all ADSL endpoints.Provide technical assistance and support for all circuit issues, including ADSL and leased line.Progress and escalate faults in line with SLA’s.Identification, acknowledgement and logging of all circuit faults and problems. Liaising with Telco’s for fault rectification on any circuits.Communication of faults internally, both domestically and internationally.Communication of faults externally to customers.Identification of enhancements to monitoring tools.The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks/faults simultaneously and will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.The ideal candidate will have a networking background and an understanding of ADSL, you will be well versed in using office applications, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook, any prior experience of ADSL fault support would be desirable.Package includes 25 days holidays and pension.We would like to hear from you if you are a Customer Support Technician, Technical Support Officer, Service Desk Support Technician or Fault Officer with relevant experience.
