Description: A Project Manager, with experience project managing the installation of ICT (Information Communication Technology) infrastructure into new buildings, is sought for a multi national project management construction consultancy with offices and vacancies in Nottingham and Birmingham. My client offers ICT consultancy to the NHS, schools, colleges, universities, banks, office developers, transport and government clients. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for utilising the latest technology and project managing the installation of ICT into new and existing buildings. Skills Required: Ideally candidates will have experience across a broad range of Information Communication Technology infrastructure and/or integration projects coupled with a broad knowledge base and understanding of latest technologies and trends from the major ICT vendors. High-level technical knowledge and design awareness of some of the following areas technologies:- Learning Platforms; Cabling Infrastructures; LAN; WAN; Active network components; Thin / Thick client concepts; Intelligent building concepts; Enterprise wireless technologies; Data Centres; Converged technologies such as Unified Messaging; CCTV; Access Control; Cashless Catering; Audio Visual; Digital Signage; IPTV Experience analysing user needs at design and pre-construction phases of new buildings and then project managing the implementation of ICT solutions at construction phase. Proven project management skills and PRINCE 2 certification, or equivalent. Exposure to a range of industry sectors such as health, offices, education, transport or government. Experience of working with the Education sector, specifically Building Schools for the Future (BSF), Colleges and Universities would be an advantage.
