Description: Senior Contracts OfficerMy client, a European high technology group renowned worldwide for its expertise in electronics based defence systems and services, particularly for naval forces now urgently needs to recruit a Senior Contracts Officer. This is a challenging role in which you will; review tender documents, prepare quotations, submit bids and quotations and negotiate contracts within the authorised authority level, to administer contracts, attend Customer meetings and ensure that the Company‘s profitability is maximised whilst understanding commercial risk. Ideally you will have working knowledge of MOD contracting, a strong understanding of commercial agreements, and an understanding of intellectual property rights. Some negotiation experience and moderate experience of export contracts is desirable. This role offers a highly competitive salary package.
