Description: Due to expansion plans Aeropeople’s client who specialise in helicopter transportation, maintenance, search and rescue and related services have an immediate requirement for a Deputy Technical Director on a permanent basis in Lagos, Nigeria.Main duties will be as follows:Øto assist the Technical Director in the safe and profitable running of the engineering department and to deputise during his absence.·to ensure that good maintenance practices are maintained.·to establish and publish maintenance procedures.·to liaise with equipment suppliers and OEM’s to ensure the required levels of support are in place.Our Client is looking for a senior Licenced Engineer holding several helicopter type ratings, experience within hands on helicopter maintenance along with previous experience within a Quality Management/Maintenance Management position is also necessary.Successful applicants will have experience within contract preparation/negotiation, have strong inter-personal skills/man management skills with an in depth knowledge of helicopter operators and contacts within the industry.Our client operates a number of Fixed wing and Rotary platforms; Experience on type is not essential however preference would be given to applicants with experience on Eurocopter aircraft types.We offer:competitive tax-free salary (negotiable)rotation of 3 months on/1 month off with business class air fares paid to country of domicilein-country living allowanceprivate medical coverlife insurancefully furnished, air conditioned accommodation with 24 hour security, internet access and satellite televisionpleasant working environment in purpose-built facilityFor more information on the above positions please submit your CV today!
