Description: Our Client is a small company of consulting engineers and scientists specialising in advisory, expert witness and energy work. They have a reputation for the thoroughness and high quality of work produced. The client has an excellent record of staff training, for which it has won an award from the Royal Academy of Engineering. They are a compact and friendly company, accredited by Investors in People. They are now seeking a Mechanical and Power Engineer to join an existing team that covers a wide range of work from industrial and commercial energy surveys to advice to the public sector and assistance to lawyers and contractors in disputes in the energy and a variety of other fields. The successful candidate will be Chartered engineer or scientist with experience in the power and energy industries interested in branching out into forensic and expert witness investigations. We are looking for someone with experience in a range of industries and environments, for example public sector, manufacturing, service industries. The successful candidate will have an interest in provision of dispute resolution services including preparation of expert technical opinion. This will require a good command of written English as well as a sound engineering knowledge and background. They will preferably also be familiar with energy efficiency measures and have knowledge of conventional and renewable energy generation.
