The expanding UK and international client base ranges from Theme Park Operators, Privatised National Utilities and Governmental Organisations, through to National Museums and Estates, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Industrial Manufacturers.They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Electrical Engineering your main responsibilities will include; the provision of technical expertise to a range of live projects and tenders, technical leadership, client relationship development, sales support, consultancy assignments and reports, cost and quality management, engineering calculations, tests and inspections and project closeout. To be successful within this role you must be educated to HND/degree level or equivalent in Control or Electrical Engineering, and have previous experience in power engineering and electrical design on high and low voltage systems. A working knowledge and appreciation of relevant standards, codes of practice and procedures is essential. You must be computer literate with a good understanding of MS Office, and experience of SKM power tools modelling software will be an advantage. Due to the nature of this role it is important that you are prepared to travel on occasions.Overseas candidates will be considered providing that they hold either of current British passport or a valid work permit, and are able to attend in person for an interview in the UK.
