Description: To provide QS support to project delivery on multiple QinetiQ sites. Providing cost control associated traditionally tendered contract works and management of PSA Schedule of Rates for all works up to 25k.Key Accountabilities:oTo provide day to day support and advice to Property Project Managers on allocated sites in connection with the costing and management of work, in accordance PSA ‘Schedule of Rates, for all project work up to 25k. Coaching of Project Managers in the management and allocation of ‘Schedule of Rates’ and ‘Composite Rates’. oMaintenance of the Amey-QinetiQ ‘Schedule of Rates’ to include regular analysis and review of the rates and annual updating in line with published indices. oOwnership, management and maintenance of regional MTTC Sub-Contracts to include attendance at regular contract review meetings and regular analysis and review of the rates and annual updating in line with published indices. oManagement, development and ongoing maintenance of Amey-QinetiQ portfolio of ‘Composite Rates’ to include regular analysis, review and amendment of the rates and annual updating in line with published indices. oSupport to Contract Project Manager in respect of Business Development and the winning and implementation of Facilities Management and Construction style work packages.  Key Performance Measures:To provide continuous measurement, analysis and cost reports associated with the performance of Schedule of Rates work and maintain Amey margin. To show continuous improvement of the skills and knowledge of site Project Managers in the management of ‘Schedule of Rates’ and ‘Composite Rates’ Projects. To monitor, modify and develop additional ‘Composite Rates’ to ensure Amey margin is achieved. A demonstrable track record of support in development of new Project businessKey Skills:Schedule of rates experience and knowledge Degree in Quantity Surveyor Preferable but not essential - Knowledge of working on MOD site
