You will be expected to maximize occupancy levels and increase the profile and profitability of the business, working to targeted goals. You will also be required to deputise for the Events and Venue Hire Manager in their absence.Experience:Must have relevant experience delivering and selling conferencing, banqueting and events in a multi purpose venue as well as a proven sales record. With many contacts within the industry and in Sussex based businesses, you will also have a strong financial acumen and be success-driven.Previous experience within a corporate environment is a MUST! If you have had previous experience of Sales or Events, within a commercial environment and have proven abilities within these fields, this would prove to be highly desirable. Educated to degree level or equivalent, with strong organisational skills, you will be hard working with a positive, flexible approach and a keen commercial acumen.Person Profile:You will need to be tenacious and hard working, with a good sales and creative flair, and the ability to maximise opportunities to raise profile, and profits.
