Description: Telecoms / Network Manager - MPLS / CISCO / Staff My client is seeking to hire a talented Network Manager / Telecoms Manager. This role will be responsible for day-to-day operations of data and voice communications for international financial network consisting of 30+ locations across Europe and Asia. Your team will consist of 6 members ( 2 Network Operations, 2 Engineers, 2 Telecoms Support). This organisation is to set up their Networks centre of excellence for their international company in Dublin and you will play a mission critical role in this. New projects happening include: MPLS roll-out on all their main sites. Implementation VOIP technologies across their regions. This company has a superb reputation. Your skill-set 8 - 10 years industry experience 5+ years managing a team Experience as a NETWORK OR TELECOMS MANAGER (not a general IT Manager or a Project Manager) Strong CISCO knowledge MPLS - knowledge VOIP - advantageous. A NETWORKS GURU WITH PEOPLE MANAGEMENT ALL IN ONE ! Core network technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, IPSec, firewalls and remote access. Core voice and video technologies, including PBX, PSTN, trading turret systems, voicemail management, call accounting, mobile technologies, VoIP, videoconferencing systems, MCUs, gatekeepers and gateway systems. Hardware platforms, including Cisco routers and switches, Check Point/Nokia firewalls, Juniper NetScreens and IDPs, Riverbed Steelhead appliances, Nortel Meridien, IPC, BT, Polycom voice and video hardware. Relevant software, including SolarWinds, NetScout Performance Manager, Linux-based open source tools (MRTG, Cacti, Apache, etc.) Manage and grow data and voice operations teams. Prioritize and manage IT communications projects and programs. Manage budgets and expenditures. Manage new site implementations and oversee handover from implementation to production.
