Description: Bristol - HTML, Ajax, Javacript. My Bristol based client are building some manual data entry screens to bolt onto out existing Trade Process Management system and need someone to finish them off, using a template coded by one of our team who has had to be deployed on customer site. The timeframe is immediate, the duration probably 2 - 3 weeks. Here is a breakdown of what needs doing. WebConnect (our UI) custom controls are written using a combination of HTML, JSP and JavaScript. JSP is used to initially build the Dynamic HTML page, and for processing of Ajax requests on the server side. These Ajax requests are initiated from the HTML code, using JavaScript, to provide validation and enrichment at a field level for the HTML page. The JSP code needs to make use of Tag libraries and other components provided as part of the WebConnect framework, including interaction with the underlying Database (Oracle 10g in this case). JavaScript is used for client side processing on the HTML page, for simple activities such as enabling/disabling fields, performing in-form validation and is generally kept to a minimum.
