This organisation is a leading supplier of world-class brands to major retailers throughout the globe. Alongside their fully automated 'state of the art' manufacturing facilities and strong brands, they hold "good people" at the core of their business and future success.Following expansion at their highly-automated, fast-paced and modern manufacturing facility, they seek to recruit a Production Shift Manager / Operations Team Leader. This role is critical to the success of this site. You will lead and motivate a team of operators and be responsible for productivity and driving through continuous improvements.This is a shift role that involves working 12 hour days and nights role. However there is extensive time off.To apply you should be able to demonstrate a background in Production, Manufacturing or Operations Management. You may be educated to HNC/HND or Degree level in Production Management or Manufacturing Systems and will have at least 2 years commercial experience. Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience of any manufacturing environment - e.g. Automotive, Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Chemical or Electronics.Above all else you must be a confident leader and have excellent people management skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear track record of improving productivity and efficiency KPIs within a production facility.
