Description: This small village school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join their teaching team.The successful candidate will be a flexible, motivated and inspiring teacher who has a good knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum to deliver lessons for PPA time. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a friendly and supportive environment.  - The post is full time with responsibility to implement and deliver appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils, incorporating the National Curriculum requirements and in line with the policies of the school. -An excellent knowledge of numeracy would be an advantage but most importantly you will need to be a team player, as you would be planning closely with the class teachers. Organisation and dedication to your role are essential elements for this position as is a firm commitment to developing the potential of every child. Teaching Responsibilities:· To teach pupils in their assigned groups according to their educational needs, including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the students· To assist with assessment, recording and reporting on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of assigned pupils and keep such records as are required by the schools systems· To ensure a high quality learning experience for pupils, which meets internal and external quality standards· To use a variety of delivery methods appropriate to students learning styles and the varying demands of curriculum· To provide a positive, and conducive and safe learning environment, encouraging high standards in punctuality, presentation of work and relationships.· To set high expectations for pupils’ behaviour and maintain a good standard of discipline through well focused teaching, fostering positive relationships and implementing the schools behaviour policySuccessful Candidates will:· Hold QTS or equivalent· Be a KS2 specialist· Have the ability to work under pressure· Be committed and forward thinking· Have a keen desire to get involved in school life· Possess the ability to deal with challenging behaviourNQTS are welcome to apply.For more information please call Toni Wadley on 01242 244549 or email your CV to toni.wadley@hays.com
