The CompanyRobert Half Finance & Accounting are working with a leading Glasgow-based leisure business in the recruitment of a Financial Accountant to join their expanding team. This is a new role and as such, offers the successful candidate an opportunity to develop their career whilst adding a new function within an already successful finance team. The RoleThis role will take responsibility for the statutory reporting for a number of companies including the consolidation of the holding company. The primary duties include draft computations of tax and deferred tax, carrying out monthly reporting in bank format' including covenants. Furthermore, you will be responsible for balance sheet control including all balance sheet codes and ensuring all monthly reconciliations and analysis are carried out and signed off. Ultimately, you will be the company's accounts reporter and keeper of the balance sheet. Our client will consider applications from Qualified Accountants only. Given the nature of this role, the ideal candidate will have a proven history in providing highly technical accounting as well as consolidation and statutory reporting. Salary & BenefitsThe salary offered for this new position is circa £40,000 plus benefits.
