Description: Leading US financial house has an urgent requirement for a Quant Analyst to join their established team. The firm has offices across the country and it is likely the position will require a flexible individual who is willing to travel between the offices. The role has arisen due to an increase in company turnover and it is therefore an exciting time to join the organisation. Responsibilities Working with the research team, devising plans for the quantitative research function. Producing analysis software and developing production software. Analysis of production trading and operations, often working against tight deadlines. Essential Educated to PhD level in a technical subject from a leading academic institution. Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Experience of working in the financial services sector, ideally within a statistical arbitrage role.
