Description: £££ PR Executive £££ **** £20k-£25k **** We are currently looking to recruit a PR Executive to form an integral part of the Marketing Communications team at the head office of one of my most successful clients in Rochdale. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively manage the media relations and secure regular coverage in our key media - print and online. You will also be responsible for literature production, event management, sponsorship opportunities and corporate identity. You must be hands-on and comfortable dealing with people at all levels internally (across all functions) and externally (customers, partners, suppliers). Whilst IT experience is not essential you must be capable of learning and understanding technical terminology associated with the company, its products and the ISP market place and be able to translate this into relevant copy. Responsibilities will be broken down as follows:- Media Relations - Secure the best possible media coverage to reinforce our brand - Timely execution of the media plan - Build and grow relationships with local and national media contacts - Update the Media List (IT, Business and Regional) and undertake annual media audit - Handle general media enquires and editor/journalist liaison - Monitor opportunities with key media - Source publishable material - Write/edit and issue press releases and case studies - Manage press packs and press centre on the website - Co-ordinate all media opportunities, including briefing materials, photo calls, interviews, roundtables - Liaise with the PR Agency - Coverage tracking and analysis - Communicate media coverage internally - General administration - manage press cuttings file etc External Communication - Facilitate sponsorship advertising - Literature production - writing copy, briefs, design and print - Assist with market research - Support for policing use of the corporate identity guidelines and brand - Organise events in conjunction with Sales - Coordinate opportunities with trade associations and industry bodies This is an absolutely fantastic opportunity, one that is definitely not to be missed.
