Description: Our clients based in Cardiff currently have an opening for a Production Manager to join their friendly team.ResponsibilitiesManufacture of and assembly of rapid test based productsControl of rapid test production activities within a regulated facility and ensuring all department activities conform to ISO9001 and that good manufacturing practices are followedRepresenting the rapid test production department as part of the management team to ensure that team continuous improvement initiatives are identified and implementedGeneral management of the rapid test production group facility, equipment and personnelMaintaining and improving production output to agreed budgetsKey RolesPlanning and scheduling rapid test production activitiesLiaison with other departments to secure material and supply, quality control testing and final release of rapid test based productsLiaison with key external customers regarding rapid test production issuesCost analysis and estimation of rapid test activitiesEquipment control and calibrationMonitoring labour usage - product specificMonitoring waste - product specificMaintaining records to meet regulatory requirements including production process documentation, manufacturing batch record documentation, personnel training records and equipment maintenance recordsKey ObjectivesMeeting production output demands in a growing businessImproving efficiency and cost for rapid test production activitiesMaintaining and implementing activities in line with Quality System objectives
