Following year on year growth for the past five years, our client is now looking to expand its Customer Services division and employ an additional member of staff. The role would involve overlooking the company’s corporate clients and dealerships within the export division. The successful candidate will be based with the customer services department looking after the after the export side of the business, so previous experience is highly desirable. Key Areas of Responsibility:·Continually check for incoming orders and ensure that they are processed in a timely fashion;·Enter customer orders onto system, ensuring the accuracy of information;·Process associated export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading and letters of credit;·Respond to enquiries and queries (by telephone / email / fax) from internal and external customers, including overseas;·Provide accurate and clear technical information on product both verbal and written if required·Develop rapport and trust in relationships with key customers;·Progress chasing orders and monitoring their progress through system;·Review orders in line with manufacturing capabilities and allocate best delivery dates;·If working with dealers book in deliveries;·If working with corporate clients provide enhanced service including the provision of management reports;·Provide such assistance as may be required in respect of Service Centre workPersonal Attributes:·Excellent communication skills – oral and written, coupled with excellent telephone manner·Good organisational skills coupled with good all-round administrative skills·Ability to work flexibly in respect of working hours and duties performed·High level of accuracy coupled with conscientious approach to workExperience:·Experience of working in a customer service capacity would be advantageous ·Experience of working with Export function is highly desirable·Experience of working within Manufacturing environment advantageous·High level of PC literacy Word / Excel / Outlook·Sound knowledge of export procedures (letters of credit etc.) highly advantageous·Ability to speak foreign languages advantageous, French and German preferred·NVQ in Customer Services advantageousBenefits:·£18,000 salary·Training·25 days holiday + Public holidays·Life insurance (4x annual salary)·38 hr week·Early finish on Fridays·Monday to Friday ·Friendly office
