Purpose of Job To contribute to the achievement of departmental and company targets through the proactive management of a customer service team.3. Principal Accountabilities and Key Tasks · To proactively manage and motivate the customer service teams to ensure a prompt, cheerful, accurate and efficient service is provided to internal and external customers within agreed deadlines.· Conduct quarterly 1-2-1s with all team members in line with the departmental format. Agree, set and monitor SMART objectives.· To constantly monitor and feedback the performance of individual team members. Identify and agree individual training and development needs and ensure that these are fulfilled by the most appropriate method.· Justify recruitment needs and assist with the selection process in conjunction with the C.S. Manager and H.R. Department.· To have sufficient system and procedural knowledge to support the team by ‘stepping in’ to any role as necessary.· Monitor and review performance against departmental KPIs. Work to improve standards against set targets.· Seek out ineffective and inefficient procedures and work with colleagues and other departments to improve, adding value and ensuring relevance.· Build lasting and effective relationships with customers, attending visits and meetings as appropriate.· To represent the department on company projects as requested by the Customer Services Manager.· To promote Customer Services within all areas of the company.· To respect company and individual confidentiality at all times.· Any additional tasks as requested by line management.· To ensure compliance with all Company Standards & Regulations with regard to Health, Safety and the Environment.
