Description: The company, located in West London, is the fourth largest car manufacturer, both domestically and internationally, with a reputation for innovation in safety and technology and a world class dealership network in Europe.As Vehicle Progressor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the New Vehicles, Light Commercial Vehicles and Fleet Vehicles divisions.Your role would be focused on the following areas:Managing the New Vehicles, Light Commercial Vehicles and Fleet Vehicles divisions on a daily basis and providing supervision to other staff members in the coordination of new vehicles;Providing the sales team with technical advice in relation to new vehicle specifications, modification requirements and product recalls;·Managing the New Cars Sales Team in the preparation and delivery of new vehicles;·Identifying specific business requirements for clients and inspecting final modifications on commercial new vehicles;·Overseeing logistical operations from the Import Centre;·Liaising with external contractors in order to ensure the efficient delivery of new vehicles to clients;·Handling transit damage claims from commencement to completion;·Maintaining accurate vehicle identification records and customer databases; and·Supervising the repairs, accessories fitting and final inspection processes and ensuring practices are conducted in accordance with manufacturer standards.Suitable candidates must have at least 3 years’ managerial work experience in the automotive industry. You will be required to demonstrate strong automotive technical skills, together with an ability to provide leadership to others. You must have a proven track record in providing effective technical advice in relation to new vehicle specifications, modification requirements and product recalls. In addition, you must be able to liaise effectively with internal and external departments.
