You could be working on a $140 million dollar project in Aucklands city of sails or Christchurch's international airport, a stones throw away from the fantastic south islands ski fields and Queenstown. As a successful Quantity Surveyor for this company, you will provide efficient and effective strategic, commercial, contractual and financial management for the new build construction projects in order to manage business and project risks, contractual obligations, expenditure, revenue recovery and achieve or better project margin targets in a manner that ensures you make a healthy profit and the clients’ expectations are met. You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with the client and/or the client’s representatives, with local staff, subcontractors and suppliers while consistently and proactively financially managing all projects to ensure established financial budgets and margins are met. Ideally you will have an academic or professional qualification in Financial Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or another relevant field, and have relevant experience within the construction industry.
