Description: As the Data Centre Facilities Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for the FoE data centre facility operations (UK and Germany) including maintaining the daily Mechanical and Electrical operational requirements; to ensure via maintenance procedures, that all internal and external service suppliers remain within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and to provide support services to ensure current and future operational requirements are accommodated. Technical Skills:Previous Data centre and IT facilities engineering experience in a similar role and knowledge on some of the following. High Voltage Transformers, switchgear, Diesel Generator Sets, UPS and Battery Bank (1000KVA plus), HVAC, CRAC, Precision Air conditioners, Chillers and Cooling Towers, Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Based Fire Suppression Systems, Water Leak Detection Systems, VESDA, CCTV, Access Control Systems, Building Management Systems, Infrastructure System Tests (IST) etc. Reliable and conscientious. Must be flexible in approach to working hours and travel. A strong team player. Strong interpersonal and customer services skills with the ability to communicate at varying levels. An intelligent self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative to solve problems. Computer-literate (MS-Office skills required. An Electrical qualification or 16th edition certificate would be an advantage. MS-Project and CAD experienceStrong interpersonal and customer services skills with the ability to communicate at varying levels. Ability to provide Day to Day Team Supervision. Capacity Management. Project management. Contract and Supplier Management to ensure internal and external suppliers deliver all types of maintenance, preventive and reactive on all mechanical and electrical plant and equipment to Europe standards. You will work as part of a team, currently consisting of a European Data Centre Facilities manager, Analyst, Support staff, Infrastructure project managers and service suppliers. As team leader is required to supervise the team and suppliers and report to the European Data Centre Facilities manager.
