All three hotels urgently require experienced personnel to assist in the growth of the business.Duty Managers with a relevant UK bachelor level degree qualification in Business/Hotel/Hospitality Management are required to perform the following dutiesPlanning and co-ordinating in-house activities and package plans together with the Sales & Marketing Manager, Reservations Manager and Food & Beverage Managers; Participating in the development of recognition programmes for staff, advertising and promotional programs and campaigns to increase market awareness and penetration whilst monitoring present and future trends, practices and systems to determine and ensure the hotels are competitive in the market placeActively responsible for staff selection, training and development and to ensure the high standards of guest care are maintained at all timesAddressing problems and troubleshooting; Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly; Supervising maintenance, supplies and furnishings; Dealing with contractors and suppliers; Ensuring security is effective; Carrying out inspections of property and services; Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsCompetitive salaries in the region of £19,000 - £22,000 – these are ideal roles for individuals looking to begin or progress their hotel management career.Apply in writing to: sirpals@yahoo.co.ukClosing date for applicants – 12th June 2008
