Description: Our client, a leading international luxury fashion retailer is seeking to appoint an experienced commercially focused European Training Manger into this newly created role to support their expanding European retail business.The primary focus of this role is to support our 70 European stores across 13 European countries to implement the organisations global learning and development strategy. A key focus will be delivering our new global sales, service and productivity training initiative in the European region. This will involve liaising with the corporate L&D team to help them develop the programme, managing the execution of the training across the store network, monitoring and evaluating the programme, ensuring that the stores take ownership of ongoing delivery of the training and providing feedback to the central team on the impact of the programme. In addition to implementing corporate L&D programmes, this role will work with the HR Director on devising and implementing other ad-hoc training interventions in the region to support initiatives such as induction, new store openings, mystery shopping, coaching teams and line managers.The role will ensure that European training is aligned with global corporate strategy and work closely with Regional Training Managers in USA and Asia. In addition, the role will work closely with store management and training champions in each country as well as being a key part of the Regional HR and corporate learning and development team. The successful candidate is likely to have already had exposure to an international client base ideally within the retail, consumer goods or FMCG sectors. In addition you should also posses a strong commercial acumen and enjoy working within a dynamic and fast moving environment. French, German, Italian or Spanish language skills would also be highly beneficial.
