Description: Job description The Technical Operations Analyst will report to Technical Lead and will assist with the development, delivery and future support and maintenance of the company’s new document and records management system. The system will be based on Open Text’s LiveLink. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: • To support the Senior Networks Analyst who is the Technical Lead for the DMS • To create documentation of technical maintenance, administration and support processes for the DMS • Day-to-day tasks required to keep the Document Management System running reliably, including maintenance of the Document Management System’s Windows servers in a real time and high demand environment and the monitoring of system performance and be able to conduct performance tuning • Performing and managing system back-ups schedules, system restore processes and to achieve business continuity through disaster recovery operations • Assist with the release and implementation of new versions of the software Candidate specification It is essential that applications have: • At least three years IT experience • An understanding of web services and the configuration and optimisation of Internet Information Server (IIS) • Experience of data manipulation and maintenance using an Oracle database • Experience of server management and operations • Analytical • Problem Solving • Good communication (both oral and written) • Team working • Quick learner and ability to work in a fast paced environment It is also desirable that applications have: • An IT degree or equivalent • An understanding of document and records management • Experience of Open Text LiveLink • Inter-personal skills • Work load prioritisation
