Description: Product Assurance Engineer Aerospace Portsmouth, Hampshire, South EastSalary - Negotiable We are a recruitment agency and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Product Assurance Engineer for our Portsmouth client.The Product Assurance Engineer To undertake Product Assurance activities on the given project and provide Product Assurance support to the Land Anchor team whose prime tasks are the specification, installation and testing of satellite communications equipment in two customer-built ground station sites in UAE. Travel is an expectant of this position which will include some travel to other sites in the UK and France as well as to USA-based suppliers and potentially prolonged periods in UAE to support test and installation acceptance. Qualifications and/or SkillsEssential: Suitable PA experience in a similar role. HNC in appropriate technical subject or the equivalent in terms of additional experience. Good auditing and interfacing skills with regards to Project team, Suppliers and Customer.Desirable: Auditor/Lead Auditor. Good problem solving, communications and facilitation skills.Previous ExperienceEssential: Experience of Product Assurance in Design, Manufacturing, Installation, Commissioning and Quality Management Systems in a Defence Systems Project environment (Electronics & Hardware).Desirable: Experience of Product Assurance Engineering on Defence Communications Systems contracts.Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.Please visit our website colbernlimited co uk for more opportunities
