We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join our Client Services Team. Based out of our Southern Technical Centre in Reading, the role is to manage ongoing relationships with both new and existing clients with the aim of maximising client satisfaction, retention, penetration and revenue. The responsibilities of the role include managing client satisfaction and SLA adherence for Managed Services Clients from deployment through to ongoing service, ensuring that all clients support is delivered to a high standard and in line with contractual SLA’s. This will involve running regular service reviews and completing monthly services reports, monitoring and driving issue resolutions and escalating any out of line situations to other operational managers within the business. As a Service Manager within the team you will be an escalation point of contact for clients in relation to all general issues and enquiries, and will be responsible for ensuring continuous business improvement in the delivery of client support. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience within client services or IT project management with business knowledge of a recurrent services environment. Ideally the successful candidate will be ITIL qualified, or at least have experience in working within ITIL processes and procedures. It is essential that the successful candidate has outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal and the empathy to understand issues from the customer’s viewpoint and respond appropriately. We are looking for someone who has composure and the ability to remain calm and dispassionate whilst initiating actions and seizing opportunities to put ideas into action either personally through engaging a team, or the organisation as a whole. High personal motivation and energy, coupled with a strong customer focus and customer service attitude are also essential.
