Description: My client based in Adlington near Chorley is looking to recruit a Partnership Debt Solutions Advisor for the newly created Partnerships Division which is an ambitious team creating exciting long term relationships with external companies which are vital for the continued growth of the company. This role will involve being responsible for dealing with Partnerships customers who are looking to resolve their debt problems. This will involve discussing customers' financial affairs in depth & exploring a number of potential debt solutions to secure the best course of action in liaison with the customer. These solutions may involve a range of financial possibilities - Refinance, Debt Management Plans, Self-Help, Individual Voluntary Arrangements or Bankruptcy.Main duties:§To handle inbound transfers from Partnerships agents with customers ready for transfer for a debt solution conversation.§To handle inbound calls from Partnerships customers via the branch networks and/or other marketing activity.§Making outbound calls to Partnerships customers who have requested a call or who have had an appointment set by an agent.§To own a customer's debt solutions journey, making follow-up customer service calls to customers, including chasing their information back and making sure their situation has been handled satisfactorily.§To obtain a complete picture of the customer's financial situation and make an informed decision as to how to progress with the customer in terms of best advice. §To work closely with all areas of the business and our external Partners delivering the changes needed to allow the Partnerships Division, & therefore the business achieve its stretch targets.§To build strong relationships & communicate well with other teams within the business to ensure a smooth debt solutions journey for the client at every point of contact.§Finding solutions for customers following a full customer interview into something positive both for the customer & in line with business objectives. §To manage assigned workload.Skills:§Excellent Numerical and Literacy skills§Experience - At least 12 months relevant experience in a similar debt advice/solutions role working to resolve customer's financial situations/problems.§A desire to help clients with their finances and explore the best advice to help them agree a suitable solution. §An excellent ability to communicate confidently with customers & with external partners in a professional manner (verbal, oral & written), be able to adapt a conversation depending on customer circumstances & have an ability to empathise with customers appropriately, often dealing with sensitive situations.§Strong assessment and problem solving skills.§An ability to work in a team as well on own initiative.§Able to work within a busy and sometimes pressured environment.The salary will be dependent on experience and will range between £15,000 and £17,000 per annum with a generous bonus scheme and the potential to earn up to £1,200 attendance allowance. Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8am & 8.00pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays between 9am and 3.30pm, variety of shifts available. The holiday entitlement is 20 days plus 8 public holidays and the company also offer free life assurance, childcare vouchers and an on-site canteen.
