Our client is the leading organisation for representing the interests of all UK writers and aims to ensure writers are fairly compensated for any works that are copied, broadcast or recorded. They are currently recruiting for a Licensed Works Coordinator with responsibility for Overseas Broadcast Rights to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all income and data relating to print and audiovisual usage of licensed works, both in the UK and overseas through the MRS database to ensure maximum allocation and distribution of fees to all members.Job Responsibilities: Work with third party contractors on the procurement of accurate data relating to the usage of members works overseas.Establish and maintain good working relationships with sister societies both within the UK and overseas, broadcasters, production companies, and other relevant bodies in order to effectively exchange information. Keeping detailed records of correspondence, payments and data relating to licensed use of UK Audiovisual works overseas.Dealing with members’ queries regarding overseas usage of their works and following up on queries within agreed timeframes.Dealing with general queries regarding work details, source income, payments and distributionLiaising with Membership Department regarding licensed works and their contributorsEnsuring agreed service level targets are metAny other duties as requiredClient Administration: Ensuring comprehensive and timely submission of claims and/or return of checklists to overseas organisations for licensed use of UK works overseas including cable retransmission, off-air recording, private copying, PLR and any other rightsResearching and processing (importing, inputting and validating) information on UK programmes and their licensed usage overseas from both internal and external data collection sources.Ensuring that relevant TV programmes are recorded and information logged.Experience: Results motivatedKeen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in your workAbility to work as part of a team and on your own initiativeAbility to work to strict deadlinesAble to work well in a team environmentExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Excellent interpersonal skills to build good working relationships with external partnersExcellent telephone mannerExperienced in all Microsoft Office applications (to intermediate level as a minimum)Database experience preferredKnowledge of German, French or Spanish languages an advantageSalary: £18,000 Location: City of LondonTo Apply Please Forward a CV: Sean.mcnamara@seynerbenson.comwww.seynerbenson.com
