Description: Our client is rapidly developing organisation that specialises in freight forwarding throughout Asia, North America and Europe.They are recruiting for an experienced AIRFREIGHT IMPORT OPERATOR, who has previously worked within a freight forwarding import role, ideally within airfreight. The day-to-day duties of the role will to be quote customers, take booking details, arrange collections, track and trace the freight shipment and update customers on the freights status, complete all related import documentation etc. You will also be responsible for invoicing and costing each shipment in order to maximise profit.The successful candidate will need to have an in-depth understanding and experience of working within FREIGHT FORWARDING, primarily from an AIRFREIGHT IMPORT prospective. Knowledge of all related airfreight documentation and procedures and customs entries would be an advantage.
